Damaged / Defective Kits

If your kit was damaged during shipment to your home, please let us know so that we may send you a new kit. To improve our service, please describe the damage in your request. A replacement kit will be shipped after UL receives damaged kit.

If a bottle is broken either upon receipt of kit or during sampling, please let us know so that we can replace your bottles. If you have questions regarding the preservatives contained in the bottles in your kit, please refer to the DrinkWell Safety Insert sheet included with the collection instructions in your kit.

If your kit is undamaged but you want to cancel your order, please review our Cancellation / Defective Kit Return Policy.

If for any reason you choose not to return a cancelled or defective kit to UL, chemicals contained in the kit can be flushed down the toilet. The contents of each bottle in the test kit should be flushed down the toilet one bottle at a time. Do not flush the bottle itself. Empty bottles should not be re-used or recycled and should be thrown in the trash. Consumers should thoroughly wash hands after disposal of chemicals in the test kit.
